Beach Clean at Ringstead Bay with Surfers Against Sewage Million Mile Clean
As you know every time you buy a gift box from us we pledge to clean 1 metre of our stunning UK beaches so on Earth Day 2022, we partnered with Surfers Against Sewage, Million Mile Clean to tidy up one of our favourite local beaches; Ringstead Bay in Dorset.
On first glance Ringstead appears to be a fairly clean beach despite its popularity with both the locals and tourists. However, once you start looking it's amazing how much rubbish you find, both left behind by visitors and washed in from the sea.
It was a beautiful morning, so we temporarily shut up shop and headed to the beach. We had all the kit we needed, kindly supplied to us by SAS. The best thing about the kit that they supply, is that it is all re-useable, so we have everything we need now to continue our regular beach cleans and litter picks.
As it was still the Easter Holidays we had our children with us and were joined by a group of friends, family and locals who all joined in the fun.
