byFoke - Our Journey To Create The Perfect Sustainable Luxury Gift Box
Hello, we are byFoke, founded in 2019 by Casey & Dan Gregory. We are an online gifting studio based in Dorset, specialising in creating luxury gift boxes for all occasions. Each Independent brand we feature is handpicked to embody our core values of sustainability and ethical production, supporting the artisans and communities behind each product.
We're More Than Just a Gift Shop
We are as much a service business as a product one, think of us as your personal shoppers and gift wrappers. Casey, with her talent for buying and sourcing unique products from hard to find makers, excels in putting together gift boxes that tell a story. Each element of every gift box is carefully chosen, with the individual products telling the story of their origin and showing the mark of their maker, to the combination of products, designed to create an experience that is more than the sum of their parts. We take pride in curating unusual and meticulously crafted gifts for every occasion, from a tiny thank you gift to a special birthday, from housewarmings to bridesmaid gifts and everything in between. Each gift box reflects our passion for craftsmanship and ethical sourcing, ensuring that every purchase supports our commitment to sustainability and community engagement. Packed by hand in our studio in Dorset, every gift you buy from us, will be beautifully boxed in our signature archive boxes, wrapped in ribbon and with a handwritten note. The care and attention to detail that we have perfected in this process makes the experience of receiving a byFoke gift a unique and joyful one.
Our Gifting Studio in Dorset
Predominantly an online gift store with a small bricks & mortar gifting studio, for eighteen wonderful months between the end of 2022 and Spring of 2024 we designed and created a much bigger retail experience store in Crown Square, Poundbury. This multifunctional space on the edge of Dorchester allowed us to engage directly with our local customers, showcase our curated selections, and host workshops. It was a fabulous opportunity to connect with our customers face to face, share the stories behind our gift boxes and introduce our offering to a new audience. Our Poundbury experience flew by in a joyous blur of meeting lots of new customers and getting to know our regulars even better, hosting some wonderful events and workshops and learning so much about our brand and our audience. Most importantly, it really cemented our brand values, we were reassured to learn that our customers really care about where they shop and what they buy and our byFoke offering allows them a truly luxury gifting experience whilst doing their bit to support lots of lovely independent brands and the planet. For now we are back in our gifting studio, but we are already planning our next shop location, so watch this space!
