Our Story
We wanted to create a business that sold all of the beautiful products from our favourite independent brands and package them up beautifully and send them straight to your door - so that’s what we did.
It’s all about creating a memorable gifting experience even if you can’t be there to wrap it and give it to them in person.
Founded in 2019, byFoke is a small family run business, the result of years of browsing and shopping and falling in love with products and the brands behind them. A love of design and an eye for spotting small brands, has led to a careful curation of all of our favourite products, including unusual and special pieces that you wouldn’t normally be able to shop in one location. All brought together to make your online shopping experience as joyful as if you were wandering around your favourite independent shops or markets.
Each brand is hand picked by us and represents all of the values we feel are essential in a product; sustainably and ethically produced and supporting the people that make the product.
At the end of 2022 we expanded the business to include a bricks and mortar shop and studio in Poundbury in Dorset. This multifunctional space in the heart of Crown Square, has been a joy to bring to life. An opportunity to meet our local customers face to face and to interact and talk about the products and the makers and brands behind them. This is also where we fulfil all of our online orders and run our workshops, allowing customers to get hands-on experience making some of the products that we sell.
We don’t know where this journey will be heading next, but we want to thank you for coming along so far and supporting our small brand and all of the lovely brands that we stock.
